MULTI CHANNEL AMPLIFLIERS

NuForce's MCH Home-Theater Series defines state-of-the-art multi-channel analog switching amplifiers. You will be astonished by the power these low-profile (3.5-inch tall) components deliver: explosive dynamics and superb bass control for surround-sound home theater, and for two-channel listening, the rich, exquisitely detailed sound that has earned NuForce its enviable reputation among audiophiles and reviewers.

Based on technology we developed for our Reference 9V3 SE (Special Edition) amplifier, the MCH-300SE stands as the perfect marriage of home theater and music. As an example of convenience, a wand remote, first introduced with our P-9 preamp, allows the user to switch off the unit's home-theater channels in order to optimize two-channel listening. Among the MCH-300SE's invaluable features is a program that performs a diagnostic drill every time the unit is powered up.

Unlike linear amplifiers, which, even at idle, consume a great deal of power, the power-conservative Nuforce MCH Series provides instantaneous clout when and where it's required. The MCH-300SE and MCH-300 offer a power reserve of 1200 watts; in effect, any of seven channels can be driven up to 300 watts into 4 ohms so long as total power requirements do not exceed 1200 watts. The MCH-2's 600-watt total operates as a 200-watt-per-channel stereo amplifier with full home-theater capability.

All models in the MCH Series feature XLR inputs along with RCA inputs which can be individually trimmed for precise channel matching as well as proprietary five-way binding posts with extremely low insertion loss.

How do the MCH-300SE and Ref 9V3SE differ?

Briefly, the Ref 9V3SE has its own dedicated SMPS and uses top-of-the-line connectors and wires. All signal wires (in and out) are soldered. The Ref 9V3SE is for audiophiles who seek the highest level of pure, unadulterated performance from their audio systems. MCH-300SE offers near-SE-class performance with ease- of-service benefits. For example, all the modules can be replaced without soldering. The MCH-300SE has a dual SMPS shared by 7 channels (Industry MCH power formula for power per channel = total power / (2P + 5 x P/4)
