V3 Measurement

V3, released in October, 2009, stands for Version 3, the third generation of NuForce's amplifier technology. It is an incredibly wide bandwidth switching amplifier with exceptionally straight frequency response of +/- 0.3db variations (many other amplifiers have variations of more than 1 db). The frequency extends all the way to 150Khz at -3db.

A note about power requirement for audio amplifier:

Typical listening power is around 10W to 50W and Nuforce proprietary SE capacitor array can supply the required peak power of 500W to 1000W at extremely fast response. The graphs below show that Nuforce amplifier is capable of producing ear splitting loudness power with very low distortion.

THD+N vs Power at 4 ohm shows exceptionally low distortion at typical listening power (10 to 50W) and continues with less than 0.05% THD+N far beyond 100W.

THD+N vs Power at 8 ohm shows exceptionally low distortion at typical listening power (10 to 50W) and continues with less than 0.05% THD+N at 100W.
